Hi there guys! I thought if anyone knows anything you would! In my subdivision, I have noticed this morniog Big Blue TRash Cans--and I also noted that AWM picked up only the trash cans--left everything else. I had switched 3 months ago to a private firm, but since I switched they cut from 2x/wk to 1x/wk & now they come the night before they are supposed to! I just wondered if anyone has any good ones they use? I live in Wash Cty-just outside the city limits southeast side..

I use Greenscape Lawn and Trash Service and am very happy with them. I've had them for a couple years. Most areas of Hagerstown they do 2x week at a cost of around $30/month. I'll pm the phone number to you when I get home if you want. Plus they take garden trash at extra cost.

Thanks Yoss! I would love that. I looked in the yellow pages & could not find anyone..I was severely unhappy with BWI/AWM--and now I would not go back to them...And then this other company was great, now, not so much..

I use WasteManagement I'm outside of town so they pick up once a week...they quit picking up recycle stuff over a year ago. So now I take it to the town recycle bin...WM uses sub contractors in my area now. Last 2 times we got snow they didn't pick up freakin' asshats.

So I stumbled onto a big problem here in good ole Wash Cty..I thought it was just me that was irritated...I got rid of BWI because every 3 months like clockwork the bill went up +5 or 10...And I did not see any additional benefits offered..just a rate increase on the bill. And yes, at one point I paid the extra recycling fee--but that was gone from the bill as even an option some time ago...

i pay for a dump sticker,i have from 4 to 6 bags a week, i heard they were going to make it you can only bring 4 bags up there at a time, that will really help out the gas problems, ill have to make 2 trips most weeks,.
