My wife, daughter and I went to Next Dimension the other evening for dinner... this is the old Funkstown Moose hall....
The place in enormous.... there is a separate bar area and the restaurant area claims to be able to seat almost 1000 for an event...
The menu is nicely varied with a good selection of appetizers, main courses and sandwiches.... the kids menu if fantastic... my 8 yr old ordered chicken tenders and fries and it came with a drink and dessert for only $3.99 and it was more than she could eat... 3 very large chicken tenderloins (not the garbage small stuff some restaurants sell).
We ordered an appetizer to share and I had Cajun Pasta w/ Shrimp and my wife ordered a Crab Cake Melt Sandwich... we each had a salad also... good crisp fresh salads and good size too.
The pasta dish was almost more than I could eat and very tasty, my wife's sandwich was extremely large and she said it was one of the best crab cakes she has had in a while...
We split a cheesecake dessert and I had coffee.....
The total bill was only $45.00 and considering the size of the meal we did not need the $8.00 nacho appetizer (we took half of it home).
Now considering we went to Ruby Tuesday's a couple of days before and only had hamburgers and salad bar and the bill was $43.00 for the three of us, guess where I will be going again instead....
I saw at least three sandwiches being bought to tables that were huge....
I definitely recommend trying this place.... I think you will be very pleased....
BTW, the staff could not have been any more friendly... great service also....

Same experience for me and at this time I believe this is my favorite restaurant in the area.

I noticed the changeover from the Moose the last time I was in the area a few weeks ago, so I was surprised! Hopefully they'll do well

Wrangler3,
Come down 81 to70 East. Take 70 East to Rt. 40 West to Hagerstown. Go to the first traffic light turn( left.) Between Ac&t and Hoffman Chevy Car lot. Go to the next light you`ll be in Funkstown then. Go strait thru the light. You will be on Old Rt. 40 going toward Bonsboro. Dimension will be on your right. About 1 mile.
Unless you know your way around H/town that is the best & fastest way for you to get there.

My mom recently sold "the home place" and moved to South Pointe. We're always looking for a good place to eat and since Funkstown is within spittin' distance, I think we'll try it next time.
Thanks for the tip!

As you can tell Greedy gets around.
Mizitis is about 1/4 mile on the right just before Dimensions. Warring: It`s a topless dancing Bar.
One set back is You gotta bring your own drinks. Then she sells it back to you. For the cooler cost to chill it. (DUMMMM!!!
Hey jelsey do forget there is a nice little bar in the middle of town on the right hand side called the Funkstown Tavern. It`s kinda like a Cheers bar everyone is friendly. Good food and Cold drinks. You gotta try the 10th inning sandwich Yummy. ( My pit stop) every chance I get.

"Back in the day", I'd hang at Mitzi's with some college buddies in the mid-afternoon (cutting Spanish class, yuck!), before the "ladies" came on stage.
Cheap, STRONG drinks. Don't think I actually ever ATE anything there though (it was dark, and a bit dingy back then).
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, damn, those were good times!
I'll try the tavern - and the sandwich - sometime when hubby feels up to it. Thanks for the tip.
