I've just recently learned about internet tv... a couple of the tech rags I subscribe to have been talking/advertising them. From what I've been reading they're pretty much a disappointment. Lots of foreign language channels and just junk for the most part. All offer a free side and probably a paid/premium side. I haven't heard a lot of good things about them, but then I really haven't devoted that much time to investigating them.

In your opinion, how is the joost service? Have you been with them long? I was looking at the channel lineup and it didn't look too bad.

I am in the beta as well. The service is okay, but they really need to add more channels. If they added some cool channels that I didn't already have on my satellite I would use it a lot more. The interface could definitely use a lot of work though.

I agree with every coma said. It is not gonna replace Sat. or cable anytime directly. It definitely has potential if they go in the right direction.
