Went to Roccos for dinner... it's been years since I've been there. Thought it might have changed.

I was wrong.

DH and I thought the food lacked flavor. Portions were decent sized... but who wants a large portion of tasteless food? The salad was just iceberg lettuce, carrots and cucumber... not worth the extra $ I was charged for it. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. Also, the wine was horrible. We could have had a better "Italian" meal at Tony's on Penn Ave for 1/2 the price.

We ate so little of our meal that, after running some errands, we went to Dolce for take-out! They were super friendly in there... very nice people! But they screwed up our orders (we didn't find out until we got home since we ordered take-out). And the veggies in my dish had the appearance and texture of yesterday's leftover veggies--they looked mushy and colorless. And my dish was made with garnish parsley instead of Italian parsley... which struck me as odd. DH said his calzone was just so-so. However, since they were super nice in there, we'll definitely give them another shot.
