...
Drew Carey.
I thought it was going to be Dan Patrick since he is leaving ESPN. Gonna be tough to replace Bob.

What happened to Rosie? I thought I saw her name being mentioned.

I'd rather see Prince host The Price is Right before that pig o'donnell

Ill ahve to agree on that one Patton. You know what- Id absolutely love to see David Letterman do the job.

I think Drew is a good choice. Rosie would have been "all over the place" and would have scared the old ladies with her biting sarcasm!

I'm afraid Drew is going to be too slapstick. Too much carrying on and not enough Plinko. Bob was sly with his humor, that's why I thought the chatter about Dan Patrick getting it was a good fit.

I don't know Dan Patrick at all, but trust your instincts, SMan.
As far as Drew goes, he may not be as debonair as Bob, but I think his personality is more low key than Rosie. Yes, he is dorky

, though. Have to see how he does.

I can't believe anyone cares who hosts a show that my grandmother watched...I was shocked to see it was still on--I thought it was only on the game channel like "big bucks, no whammy"...

When I'm off during the week or working evenings, I like to have it on in the background while I work out.

well, i'd have to agree that drew may be too slapstick. he was even a little over the top on "whose line"... i don't think anyone will ever suit that show as well as bob barker. some how, the idea of an "I <3 DREW, PICK ME" just seems less charming.

This was my favorite game show as a teen. I never win anything, so I would scream out loud when people would win on that show. My sibs still tease me about it and I'm 51!
Haven't watched it in years. Now, I only hope to win the dream house from HGTV!
I think Drew will do fine. That is, if he keeps it clean and respectable.

Hi Christine,
Just gotta ask.... what does I<3 mean?? I see people using < and > but don't know why. I only know it as less than and greater than. Is there some internetese for these symbols?

When I lived in LA, I took my mom to TPIR when she came to visit. It was mid-December and we made our own shirts! "Bob is my Santa!" or some such garbage. Anyway, after we got there, we found i=out it wouldn't air until late January. Needless to say, we didn't get on stage in our Christmas shirts

sorry for the confusion. " <3" is a heart! (sideways) so by "I<3" i meant "i heart " or "i love".

Now the show is ruined if he is the host, it has gradually went down in the past 8 years or so anyway.
