Did you all hear Gibbs is switching to Toyota next year? What do you think? Heard Tony wasn't to happy when they first started talking about it.

Toyota had to do something, I bet Gibbs got big bucks out of Toyota though.

It will be interesting to see if this hurts Gibbs racing next year.

If there is an organization that can pull it off it would be Gibbs. I honestly don't knwo if it will hurt them or not. I think Toyaota was embarassed this year and "face" is a big thing in Japan. i think they will spend anything they have to in order to be competitive next year.

My favorite response is STILL that of Jimmy Spencer a few years back:

When asked what he thought about Toyota fielding a team in the NASCAR truck series, Jimmy Spencer cracked, "Those sons of ******* bombed Pearl Harbor, don't forget. As long as it's good for the economy, I guess it's ok. But I hope that Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge kick a$$."

I really wish Tony would make a statement by walking away from Gibbs but I doubt that will happen. I know alot of Stewart fans searching for a new driver to cheer for if he stays with Gibbs. In 10 years they will probably have Honda and other imports in the field also. NASCAR is no longer a sport that prides itself on heritage and tradition.

Brian reminds me of a kid that inherits a family company that doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground and totally runs the company into the ground trying to get rich quick.
