I'm being serious in a funny way...I think.
My mobile is my only home phone. I don't have a house phone. People are always HUH HUH HUH WHAT? (I just had a 20 minute conversation with Phish)
The thing is, when I use any phone, I don't push it against my skin because I learned long ago that this creates acne on my face. I used to tape those oil-absorbing sheets to my phones and change them regularly because the oil and dirt from the phone broke out my face. It worked, but those sheets are expensive and a pain to change.
So I just try to hold the phone away from my face. It's okay at work, but when I use my mobile, people can't hear me. I have to press the phone to my face, hence the monstrous zits.
I have a flip phone, a Katana, but when I first got it, I noticed it's ringer wasn't very loud. The first thing I did with it was download the famous Jaws ring tone. When it rang, I couldn't hear it, ever. Even in a silent room. It was so soft yet I had it on the highest level. So I changed the ring tone. I can hear it better, but it still NEVER rivels the loud rings I hear everywhere else. When we go into loud bars, my friends mobiles ring like sirens. Mine never does.
I've never questioned it before because I prefer a low ring, (much to my friends frustration). I don't like obnoxious rings. I'd rather it be delicate yet offer blinking lights, like it does now...even set on the highest level.
So I guess maybe my phone is broken? And I guess if it is, it's too late to take it back. I just thought maybe my cheek size had to do with it. I don't see other people pressing their phones into their faces.
