The grossest I can remember right now is Wizard of Gore. I had heard Crispin Glover was involved in an updated remake, but haven't been following it's progress.
The weirdest? Probably Naked Lunch, but I'm not so sure it's considered a horror movie. That was some goofy, weird chit.
Ummm, scary...The Ring scared the crap outta me. As did the original version of The Grudge. OMG what was that asian movie with the gimp in the bag?
Feast was fun and I loved The Descent. 70's and 80's horror is pretty great too. I'm lost on some of the classics though like Nosferatu. It had some great parts, but overall I just wasn't into it. Netflix automatically assigned Nos as my avatar though. Heh.
