Has anybody used the chatroom yet? I've tried to log on, but not a soul is ever there. I'm beginning to think we need to bring back the shoutbox.

I check the chat room each time I come here, but it's always vacant...

Ditto. It's awfully difficult to get even a couple of people in there at the same time.
Maybe we should have the webmaster ditch the chat room and go back to the shoutbox. I kinda miss the shoutbox anyhow! It was good for quickies that you really didn't want to start a topic for. Plus the shoutbox gave WVD something to do!

At least with the shout box you could get answers to the shouts.
Guess we should get the box backbut before, every time I wanted to check the history I'd have to log-in.What a pain!

that way we could put a message in the shoutbox that lets everyone know there is a party going on in the chatroom...

When I upgraded the forums, the shoutbox script was not compatible. I will look and see if it has been brought up to speed and if not, I will see if I can fix it up :-)

I think 'both' is a great idea....and using the
shoutbox to announce upcoming 'chats' sounds
perfect...

I looked into it once, but the reply I got was more complicated sounding than it seemed worth!

BTW, I'm sick today so i've been sitting all alone in the chat room all day. I'll stay logged until 4pm. Maybe, someone can relieve me of my boredom!

OK, Shoutbox is back. Right now it is at the bottom of the front page of the forums.

Only thing is, I lost the chat room! LOL

I will find it and put it back on tomorrow :-)
