Well, I've seen Radiohead ( Nissian Pavillion ), Alanis (Nissian Pavillion ), Adam Sandler (Yes Adam Sandler LIVE '96 Nissian Pavillion), Aerosmith ( Capitol Centre ), and Little Texas (Sherando High School). Oh and 7 Mary Three in NYC on the fishing wharfs, Awsome concert!

Van Halen (with David Lee Roth of course) just after they released their second album. In the Cap Center, I and a friend were on the floor about 20 rows back. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!

Pat Benatar at Merriweather Post Pavillion. At the time I thought her music was pretty good, but the concert was nothing special.

ZZ Top at the Cap Center in something like 1985. Bad seats - wayyyyy across from the stage. But they rocked like mad and I had a ball in spite of having to watch everything on the jumbo-tron or whatever you call it.

Of course, the Beach Boys 4th of July on the Mall in D.C. - the first two years they did it. It definitely wasn't loud enough to enjoy the music much, but just being in the crowd was a memorable experience.

Kixx in some club somewhere. A long time ago. I was drunk so I can't remember much, except my buddy knew their drummer or something.

Funny memory - I met REM at some record store right after their first popular album came out. I'd never heard of them and was more excited to be meeting "The Greaseman" than these nobodys from Georgia. Who knew then that they'd make it big? Or that I'd hate their music anyway.

I saw Billy Ray Cyrus at Six Flags Over Texas and Dallas, but haven't really been able to see anybody else. I got tickets to see Garth Brooks in Wheeling, but I got sick and had to stay at home.

Kix! HA! I saw them at the Maryland Theater. Most of the shows I've seen were 80s hair bands back when I was in high school...Poison (4 times), Motley Crue, Trixter and Firehouse (bah ha!), Warrant (2 times), Bullet Boys, LA Guns, Quiet Riot, Cheap Trick. I did see Cinderella and believe it or not, they were great. I loved their show. Marilyn Manson at the DC Armory for the Antichrist tour. Prince twice in the last 3 years, once at the Warner Theater and then at George Mason University. Most expensive tickets I ever bought! I saw Kiss but wasn't impressed. I'm not really into them. I saw Aerosmith on their Eat the Rich tour, I think. Meatloaf, (only because my mom and aunt wanted me to go with them!) George Thorogood at the Fairgrounds in Htown. I took my grandmother to see George Jones. Can't say I enjoyed the concert but I loved watching my grandmother get into it. OH, Bad Company and Ted Nugent at Nissan. I just went to see Bad Co., I dislike Nugent. Latoya Jackson played at a carnival at the Fairgrounds in Htown. I went over to laugh and point for a few minutes, but that's about it!

BMIC - I can't believe you saw Van Halen with David Lee after their second album! I'm so jealous.

It was my first rock concert - excellent seats - and nothing since has even come close!

Let's see....when I was in second grade, I convinvced my mom to take me to see Rick Springfield. And I saw Queensryche (?) during high school. huh.gif When my daughter was modeling in LA, she had an audition for a Cheryl Crow video. Unfortunately, the director changed his mind about the approach and cancelled the auditions. No biggie, don't like her music anyway! tongue.gif Concerts are way to overpriced!!! blink.gif

Hmm...lets see;Rolling Stones-New Orleans.Fleetwood Mac-New Orleans.Allison Krauss-Hag.John Hartford-Fred,Md.And I can't remember all the bands at a concert held in 1972 at the Hag.Fairgrounds.I kinda passed out under a car and had a cop wake me up about an hour or two before it was all over wink.gif All kinds of bluegrass bands up at Indian Springs when they had three day concerts going on back in the early 80"s.I'm pretty sure Mr.Bill Monroe was in there.Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.Theres probably more but I'd have to ask the hubby laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

Oh,yea..George Carlin and Gallagher-Md Theatre. Both were funny as -ell!
SMan
Bon Jovi (twice - the first show was outstanding, the second was later in the same New Jersey album tour about a year later. It was the guitarist's birthday and they were on stage drinking Jack Daniels and drunk out of their minds....awful show)
Motley Crue (twice - my favorite..like them or not, the put on a very entertaining show)
Warrant
Skid Row
Metallica/Guns N Roses
(same concert - Metallica rocked, Guns sucked)
ZZ Top
Tesla
AC/DC
Eric Clapton
George Strait
Reba McEntire

Brooks and Dunn

...probably more, but I can't think of them right now. As you can see, most of my concert going was late 80's - mid 90's. Most of the concerts were at the Capital Center, but a few were a the smaller venues in the metro area.
