I am never sure where to put things on this forum. If this is the wrong place tell me.
I got invited to join a team from St Marys MD for this event. I have participated in relay for life several years. The physical challange of this event scare me yet intrigue me. And the fund raising goals are well steep$1800 per team member. Anyone done this event? Any advice? I am undecided if this is something I can take on?

It's for a charitable cause. No one should look down on you for any effort that you give. Having said that, some might look down on you if you don't give enough.
Give what you can. It won't go unappreciated by the people that matter. Every drop in the bucket counts.

you might try to find a local business to sponsor you. liek a doctor'd office, law firm, restaurant, etc. even if you get several decent sized donations from one or two businesses, it would help you reach your goal.
good luck with that, man. you'll be helping A LOT of people.
