Not only are all my hemlocks dying from some pest (hemlock woolly adelgid) but i lost about 6 BIG trees during the hurricane, and last week when it was windy a huge evergreen about 100 ft tall fell right down, became uprooted. I don't even have a chain saw.

I'm just venting, my woods are falling down! I don't know what to do! At least none of the trees fell on the house, i should be thankful. God knows what damage this winter will bring!

Too bad Rockefeller Center alreasy has a tree. You could have sold your evergreen to them and they would have paid for the removal!!!

Yeah MOM, that's what my brother said" call the white house, see if they need a tree" I think i might try and cut the top of it off and make it MY christmas tree!

See? Got lemons, make lemonade!! Your situation reminds me of a Christmas poem about a man with a big tree, so he cuts off the top, then the house keeper takes it and cuts off the top, and the bear, the fox, the mouse until everyone gets a tree out of it!! It's called Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree.
