Does anybody else love this show? My husband absolutley hates it. I watch it every day at 4:00. Most of the time I think what they do is awful, but it's so darn fun to watch.

HILDI alert! She is going to do a wall in all feathers this weekend. Could it get ANY WORSE than the straw on the wall, or the all-time classic plastic flowers all over the bathroom?????

There are a bunch of new spin off shows that keep coming on too. I am already sick of Clean Sweep however, since every episode is exactly the same. And you KNOW those slobs are going to revert right back to the way they were before.

Oh my god! The straw on the wall was a classic episode! When me and mom first watched that one, we were truly without words. The episode where they wanted to put wine labels in the kitchen was funny too because the home owners didn't drink wine and was against drinking alcohol in general. I like the fat guy with white hair and glasses. He cracks me up. Any episode with Ty is great, of course. He's so good looking its ridiculous.

I watched the $100,000 episode because I was curious what they could do with that much money since they usually only have $1000 and there designs are pretty limited. With the $100,000 episode they did a good job with the one house because the kitchen, dining room, and living room was all open so they did all three rooms and did a great job. I was disappointed with the other house because they spent all the money on one room and it didn't look that great.

I agree with the 100,000 episode. Lauri blew it. I think she spent the most money on a painting, which is very subjective. And Heather, the white haired guy is Frank. He's the country one.

I think the absolute worst designer is KIA. Did you see the room she did with the bed looking like a graveyard? Or the military couples house with all the camaflouge all over (they said they didn't want a military theme) She is the worst!

My mother calls this show Hate your neighbor. I watch it periodically, but then I get sick of it...the worst room of all time was the tent room--fuscia & white & looked like a circus! Ooops-forgot the one with the black room & the tv that later fell & broke--
Yeah--Hildy is a panic! You figure that as soon as she is gone, the homeowner has to get new wallboard up!
Frank is kitsch...but at least he is nice.
There is some guy who is just rude--he always says things like, well that may be what they want...
And I do not think I know the camoflage lady...

Frank is definitely the best one of the lot.

But wait a minute! What I wanted to say was that I agree with your husband, DKD! My wife watches that . . . show constantly and I am so sick and tired of it!

I have never watched that show, but I did see its BBC equivalent once. I love my friends homes, but I would never trun them loose in mine. Nor would I want to mess with anything in theirs. Scary!!! However, a friend from high school is a contributing writer for the Trading Spaces book, and her husband is the editor.
