Gorgeous!! We didn't get much ice here. It's all gone now. I wanted that big blizzard. Disappointed.

Beautiful pics, Dragon. You are making me homesick.

I'd be interested in seeing the terrain where you're at SS. Nothing with landmarks, just some of the "neighborhood". It's been awhile since I was in the neck of the country.

Agreed, it was beautiful, but it left my neighborhood without electricity for FIVE DAYS!
Day one was kinda fun, like "camping", day two, three, four and five, however, were a tad depressing for the kids.
Luckily, we're able to take care of ourselves (wood stove for heat and cooking, gas range for cooking, oodles of "camping" lights, candles, lanterns, puck lights, stored food, winding radios, etc).
You have not experienced a "close family relationship" until the whole damn clan sits in a circle on the floor, watching a 6-inch TV hooked up to a power inverter.
The fun never ends.

Been through that before!!! Back in '93 when the big one hit that area. All I could think of this time was how happy I was to sit in the recliner and flip on the Directv while my brothers were "toughin" it out up there!!!
