Here is a link to a new very futuristic-looking vehicle ("car" doesn't seem quite right) that is being developed. Supposedly the hybrid will get 300 mpg, and it's supposedly going to be available for about 30K.

A few questions/thoughts come to my mind upon seeing this:

1. How would it handle in the snow?
2. Because it has two front wheels and one rear, I can't help but be reminded of the little blue car that shows up in the Mr. Bean series from time to time. It usually tips over...
3. If you drove one of these, I suppose you'd wave to every other one on the road (like if you drive a Jeep or ride a motorcycle)
4. Can you just see several of these parked in front of the Burger King on the Dual on a summer evening? Where the "young people" congregate?
5. How freaking hard would it be to get one of these, if they will indeed be manufactured for mass consumption? It would be like the Mini or the new Beetle X 10.
