Can anyone recommend a good Hagerstown estate planning attorney? Someone who knows estate laws but doesn't charge like they're practicing in Hollywood? Someone who could answer questions regarding handling financial aspects of the advance estate planning for out-of-state (PA) parents.
Thanks in advance!

We used
Bonnie Winders
46 N Main St, Smithsburg, MD 21783
Phone: (301) 824-4766
recently for my MIL. She lives here, though-not PA. But she might be able to recommend someone. She got my MIL to sign a POA and make out a will--it was wonderful.

Yes, I do focus primarily on wills, trusts, and estate planning. I can't practice in PA, though, yet. I'll make some calls and get some names for you. What area of PA?

Well, my wife and I are in MD, the parent is in Greencastle. Not sure if we need a lawyer who can practice in both states or what. I'm legally challenged...

Do you do WV Chip?

Not yet. That's the tough part about practicing in this area. Both PA and WV require me to take the full bar exam from scratch. I might have to hit the books again! I'll ask around if you let me know what area in WV.

Any luck on those names, Chip? The wife is getting antsy and I might have to resort to the dreaded yellow pages...
