BUT totally worth it! take advantage of freebie offers that will come your way... especially the mommy magazine subscriptions... i was bored in the hospital, so i filled out the magazine offers and have been getting parents, American Baby, and babytalk! free since my daughter was born... she'll be 2 on 4.20. ( ha) coupons are your friend... and guess what? its ok to use the cheapie wipes! ( you'll get a feel for which ones are cheap AND comfy... some of the super cheap ones are like damp dryer sheets. haha)


also, thinsg that convert will save you $!

for example, the crib we got ( laura ashley) converted into a toddler bed. my stoller can be used from birth to 5 years old! you can put the car seat right in it for newborns, so you dont even have to take them out...

Babies don't have to be as expensive as most people think! If you are given a baby shower, you can knock out alot of needs from your list right there. When it comes to diapers, clip your coupons and look for sales! Target has good sales on diaps & you can use a store coupon along with a manufacturer coupon to save even more dough. I'd advise against the cheapo diapers, most don't absorb as well so you'll end up using more. For baby clothes- hit up consignment shops & buy clothes on clearance at end of season sales. Burn had good advice per the strollers & cribs, a good quality convertible crib is an excellent investment. Hope that helps!

Babies - yes, they're expensive, but totally worth it. Just wait if you put the little love in daycare, you pay the bill and say--"I didn't know we could afford an SUV"(the monthly payment in my case was about equal to if hubby & I were paying for a Chev Suburban), but God gave us the ability to make the payments and make sure all came out fine.

Hubby's Got Swimmers? I've seen this topic for awhile thinking someone's husband had swimmer's ear or some crazy local thing. So I didn't click on it.

Congrat's Peace Frog. Maybe our daughter in law and you will be in the hospital the same time. We're expecting our grandchild on July Th. We're hoping for a girl but SSSSHHHHHH let's not ginks it.

An Update for you. Surprise is in the works. Not for sure just yet waiting on another sonogram. But Our Son and Daughter in law got to hear the HEART BEET'S. Yeah that's right 2 heart beet's. The first sonogram showed just 1 baby and he's a boy. But their doctor is bringing her back in for another sonogram to make sure their's not 2, He informed them that it's common for 1 to be behind the other. Or it could be something all together different. We're tickled to death was hoping for a little girl but another Grandson is just fine with us. As long as everyone is healthy and safe.

I just hope they're not pickled beets.
