Can't they give him truth serum or hypnotise him since he is not in this Country? I'm not sure, but I believe their are different rules for pow's as far as what is allowed in interrogations in other countries compared to what is allowed in our Country.
I found this on a news site:
In recent weeks U.S. officials, namely Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, have emphasized that the USA will not resort to such tactics to get more information out of hundreds of al-Qaeda and Taliban detainees being held in Cuba, Afghanistan and elsewhere.
However, there are signs that U.S. officials hope to benefit from interrogations by other governments that might not adhere to such guidelines.
I also read that truth serum doesn't exactly make you loose control of what you are saying but it does make you more uninhibited where as you might spill the beans as you're more relaxed, but there are other alternatives to truth serum that can be applied.
I'm sure, the CIA won't pass up the chance to do whatevery is necessary to hinder future attacks on us. As long as he is not in the USA and he can be questioned by other Country members it should be allowable.
Anyone else have any info on this?
