Anybody read the newest column by Mr. Roland? He has some good points. I'm afraid that it HAS come down to who's ego is gonna get bruised.
What I still don't understand is how the city has anything to say about wether or not the hospital can move or not.?
And aren't most of the utilities already there or very nearby because of Robinwood Medical?It doesn't seem that they'll have to be extened that far to hook up the new hospital.
Also I wonder if anyone has thought of using the old hospital as a charity hospital like they do in New Orleans?That's where people who have no insurance go to be taken care of.They also get a good bit of gunshot victims there in the trauma center.

I still don't understand WHY the city of Hagersbush can have a say wether or not the hospital can or can not move if they want to. They don't OWN it do they?Does the city RUN it?I don't think so.THAT would be a fiasco! I don't see the city trying to stop other companies from moving out of town.And that's pretty much what the hospital is really, a company of sorts.
