They were ok for the price (11.99 every Thurs. per the menu insert). The sauce just tasted like bottled stuff, which wasn't bad, just a bit plain. There was a lot of meat, minimal grisly stuff, and the only time I got my fingers dirty was to throw the bones in the discard basket. So under your rib classification system, they should be considered knife and forkers. Don't make a special trip to Bernie's for them, but if you're there and in the mood for ribs, they will suffice.

I prefer not to have to pick the sticky residue out from underneath my fingernails all night. tongue.gif

Why? It quite a refreshing snack about midnight. laugh.gif

That reminds me how, whenever I eat wings with sauce, I can smell them on my hands the rest of the night, no matter how many times I wash them. It always makes me hungry!

Yes, exactly! The other day I had wings for lunch and then had a client meeting afterward -- and I couldn't help but notice the tangy scent of tequila lime wafting up from my fingernail region throughout the meeting. how embarrassing. blink.gif

So I never did have dinner Friday night, Saturday night I had quite possibly the best BBQ chicken at Lincoln Speedway, and last night I had all kinds of picnic/ cookout grub. Tonight I'm throwing mild italian sausages and brats on the grill.

Maybe you should just punish the "brats" with a time-out. Grilling them seems a little extreme. cool.gif

last night i made coconut chicken fingers, with cucumber/tomato salad on the side, and a can o' green beans. tonight, probably baked macaroni in pizza sauce, topped w/ cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, & mushrooms (satisfies the pizza craving but i use Dreamfields elbows so it's low-carb).

The mac & cheese sounds good. You should post that in the recipe thread when you get a chance.

Try the white pizza at the new Weis at Stonehouse Square, across from Long Meadow, fresh hand-tossed crust, fresh mozzarella, slices of tomatoes and a sprinkling of spinach, oh and crushed garlic (though it could have been a bit more garlickly).

Their fresh made subs are really excellent also. Made to order on fresh baked ciabatta type rolls. Special pricing on Friday nights.

Last nite was just a small pork tenderloin on the grill seasoned with salt and pepper and cooked to a perfect 160 degrees. With grilled zuchinni, green peppers, onions and tomatoes, brushed with olive oil and herbs served on a bed of white rice.

Tonight, Baked Ziti, salad and garlic bread

Clever how about posting your recipe for your coconut chix fingers? Sounds real good and your baked pizza mac sounds delish! My family would probably like that too.
