I'd make a good mom! but at the rate I'm going, my body will fertilize 18 eggs at any small slip and I'll end up in Parade with 4 newborn girls trying to wear blue diapers and 4 newborn boys trying to wear pink and 4 more speaking in tongues before they get their butts slapped.

I am the vessel a fabulous generation!

I do my best to ignore this " holiday".

I did my part. I made a pork loin & mashed potatoes for the family. I find this 'holiday' bogus. My kids did get me a gift which was very nice. But in general, I think all those 'days' are just $ grabbers. I am a Mom everyday. And it is a blessing everyday.

I don't know about that. In my family Mother's Day has never been about doing anything big and elaborate or spending lots of money on any truly lavish gifts. It's always been about taking a little time out especially to honor our mothers. In that way, at least for us, it has been one of the least commericalized holidays.
