Lewis BlackJust heard about Lewis Black this morning... He amused me. And I had a few good laughs listening to his point of view...

I just set up my Tivo to start recording his Comedy Central show over the weekend. The premise looks funny, so I'll give it a shot. I think it's been on since March.

I'm a Lewis Black fan from way back -- we saw him do stand-up at the DC Improv in 1998 and he was absolutely over-the-top hilarious. I almost peed myself.

IMHO he's overexposed now. But if you're just discovering him you'll probably love him. He does anger better than anyone.

He's hysterical--and yes, he is from Silver Spring originally & led a nice middle class & above life style while he was growing up...
I think I first saw him after a Superbowl with Aerosmith maybe...and he wanted to put a spoon in his ear to stop the pain...

My kids turned me onto one of his tongue in cheek political science lectures. Since then we catch him periodically on Comedy Central. I like his story, and his come backs to annoyances. Funny & energized but looks unassuming.

He was pretty good on the Daily Show where I first saw him, but his recent shows haven't been that good IMO, I didn't like Red, White, and Screwed at all.

I'm not a big fan of Red, White, and Screwed either...I tend to like his older stuff.

He can be pretty funny but he's a flaming red hot stinking liberal. If he got an education and switched political affiliations he would be a lot better.

Nah... Then he'd just be another Rush Limbaugh... Phew!

I watched the Weed vs Beer Root of All Evil episode last night. It was just OK. I didn't think he was that funny as the host, but I guess the show is made or broken by the "lawyers" representing the two topics.

He says hes independent, he has been bashing democrats a lot lately. He did Tuesday morning on the radio at least.

I did think he was especially hilarious in that movie "Accepted".
