UGH!!! I have a friend who says that all the time. Bitchslap, indeed. Though it does come in handy and isn't too annoying if you use it sparingly.

I have another friend who says "That's just crazy" or variations whenever she can't think of anything else to say; i.e., "oh I don't know, it was crazy" or "I watched that show. It was crazy" etc. And she's even a GROWNUP.



I need to find friends with more creative expressions, I suppose.

I work with a woman who, instead of saying "Hell No," she says "Hell to the Nah!"

Drives me crazy. I want to explain to her that, even though she thinks she sounds cool saying it, it still takes more of an effort than just saying "Hell No" and not to mention, she sounds ridiculous. But I bite my tongue.

"Are you smelling what I'm stepping in?"

"Hell to the nah?" That's just crazy. I am also instantly annoyed.

I used to work with a woman who, at the end of the day, would say "See ya mananas!" I so wanted to shake her and scream " 'Manana' is SINGULAR! You're saying 'see ya tomorrows!' "
