Have they changed chefs? IMHO, for the past three years, the food there has been terrible! But I went in the other night and was pleasantly surprised by the overall taste and quality of the meal. Has the chef changed?

Just to review:

This past weekend, went there with Hubby and my father. I had the Shrimp Trio (a special that included fried shrimp, steamed shrimp and shrimp scampi). Hubby had the crab cakes and Dad had the fried chicken. All of us agreed that the meals were pretty good... and the garlic mashed potatoes were darn good, too.

Overall, a pleasant surprise. The crab cakes, in particular, were much better than anticipated.
