Since we are going to be at the Raleigh Pen Show next weekend, my daughter played her last official game of the season yesterday...
When we get back there is a Round Robin Tournament where they will play each team in the league in a mini 20 minute game for advancement...
This is her first year in Smithsburg Youth Lacrosse Club.... she is the youngest and smallest player on her team that goes to 11 yr old... she is only 9...
She absolutely loves the sport and plays her heart out each game.
We are lucky to have a coach that believes that every player gets as much field time as he can possibly give them, no matter if they are losing or winning...
As of yesterday their record is 5-2... unfortunately they lost yesterday.... every win has been in nasty overcast chilly weather... yesterday was sunny and almost 80 degrees..
I tease her that her team can't play in the sun... laugh.gif .... Yeah I know I am a rotten father... rolleyes.gif
Anyway... here is my star.... she may not yet be the star of the team, but she is my star player....
She even got me to buy a lacrosse stick to practice with her this summer.... I used to play box lacrosse in college... I can see some very sore muscles coming on...

That's cool Griz I know you and your wife are very proud of your daughter. I go to church with them, and it's such a joy to listen to her responses during the children’s messages. She is definitely a very intelligent little girl, it reflects on the parents just as well too. Again, Congratulations.
