No more "unlucky" than the rest...

So, anyone here superstitious??? Anything you won't do??? I won't walk under a latter or open an umbrella in the house.

I do the spilled salt thing. Spill salt, pick some up and toss it over your left shoulder.

Other than that, I can't think of anything.

Oh, I don't know if it's superstition or not, but I won't get out of a bed on the opposite side I got in on.

Oh.. lol.. one more thing... the knock on wood thing to keep the evil demons away.

I never bought into the Friday the 13th stuff, but I'm a believer in the full moon bringing out the nuts.

13th = Tomorrow is the 14th

That's pretty much all Friday the 13th means to me. I am not superstitious at all. I do "knock on wood," but only as a joke, since I typically knock on my skull when I do it.

I completely believe this! Not sure why this is, but nuts come out in mass during a full moon.

No, but if I were, then I would have stayed in bed the year our 13th wedding anniversary fell on a Friday the 13th.

Don't believe in it, but today was a rough day at work so maybe there is something to it.

Nice day for me. Reading a Steven King novel. hmmmm... But, hubby didn't really find it interesting, so he gave it to me. Duma Key. Really enjoying it. (oh well, more on this later in the book thread)

But, i found two lovely ladybugs in my bedroom today, so I figured they cancel out all the bad luck coming my way.

But, it is true about a full moon. I see it all the time and the ERs can testify to that too! Plus the moon has always been associated with PMS. Was there a full moon on here recently in another thread?? Maybe.

I found a 5 dollar bill in the street.

Yep, just another day. Although in this case, it was the day before y wife's 30th birthday.

I am highly superstitous about Friday the 13th. Everyone I know is watching their backs along with everyone else making sure no one does anything stupid...
