Judge reduces trust fund for Leona Helmsley's dog
NEW YORK (AP) - Leona Helmsley's dog isn't quite as well-heeled as she used to be. Manhattan Surrogate Judge Renee Roth has reduced the trust fund for the little dog, named Trouble, from $12 million to $2 million.
The remaining $10 million now goes to Helmsley's charitable foundation.
The 9-year-old Maltese lives in Florida with the general manager of the Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel. Helmsley died last August.
The court decision, made April 30, became public Monday.

I know all the hype around her last will... but then I looked her up & found that she did leave her brother $15 mil, 2 of her 4 grandchildren $10 mil & the other 2 left out completely. Now, while I am sure if you have over 4 billion dollars in your estate - you coulda left them something but I am sure they have not been the first people to have ever been left out of a will. Not to mention, she did leave the bulk of her estate to her charity...
