Hi Everyone

I just read this article http://www.newsweek.com/id/144279?GT1=43002 and it made me sick. Greed has gone to far and our government is planning to kill off wild horses in the United States. I agree witht he article that 39 million is nothing terms of the Federal Government. Also that if they want money ask us to donate. I would gladly do so to save a part of history and preserve something that everyone should be able to see. What's next kill all bears because they eat the fish in the rivers?

It also says they want to get rid of burro's I believe a burro and a jackass are the samething. My suggestion for gettting rid of jackasses is to start in Washington DC.

I intend to wirte Bartlett, Mikulski and Cardin letting them know what I think.

If we could get the oil companies to ask for permission to drill in the horses habitat, we wouldn't have this problem.

This is disgusting because you know it's not necessary. It isn't even about money either. Whatever the excuses they are using, I think they are going to have to find another way and Tony you are correct for intending to write Bartlett, Mikulski, and Cardin.

You can count me in. We need to join the advocate groups and overload the above congressional offices with as much support that we can "round up".
Heather
I've never seen a wild horse.

The way it sounds you better hurry and make plans now before it's to late.

I think that we should round up half of our Government and euthanize them. We'd be a lot better off. I am all for the saving of the horses. Why can't we just let things alone!!!!!!!!!

If you get a chance you have to see the horses cross from Va.to the Md. Island you must do so, They are beautiful.
I will write as well Mr. Tony

They are not doing anything that the Chincoteague firemen havnt done every year . Herd numbers have to be controlled.

Hmm...gas prices being what they are the U.S. is going to need every horse it can find - strange timing.

No just voting out incumbents should work nicely.
