Street night was great. I would recommend it over monster trucks. Got there at 5, watched cars go down the track until about 10. Good stuff. Good noises, good smells, fast cars

QUOTE
Loud, growling monster trucks wowed the crowd Friday at Hagerstown Speedway. Even the names of the trucks — El Toro Loco, Stone Crusher — were intimidating.

Well, I'm off to work on the porch and haul a load to the dump. Have a good weekend everyone.

None of the monster trucks there are interesting to me. No max d? Gravedigger is the only big name. Black stallion? Meh. The other ones are low budget no names. No thanks.

NOW THAT was a good baseball game. Down 6-2 after 1 inning and won 11-10 in 10 innings!! Glad I was there.

Oh yeah the cajun wings and the scenery were nice at Hooters too.

I also have a birthday shindig on Sunday. I'll probably take the wife out to dinner Saturday and mow the lawn sometime, but that's it. This is my on call for work weekend.

B-day party shindig turned out good, but who complains when there are shrimp, crab legs and beer around?

The rest of the weekend was spent trying to rest my tore up body from softball Friday night.

SC, did you ever finish your porch? You should post pics...before and after....someone on this forum remodeled their kitchen and took before, during and after photos.... it turned out beautiful.
My weekend plans.....youngest son will be home on Sunday, he has been in Texas for 2 weeks and I miss him ALOT. My daughter is turning 17 on Friday so we will be celebrating that, and we have been painting the kids bedrooms. This is the final paint job in my daughters room as we have lived here for 5 years and this is the 3rd time we have painted it. Power washing the house and patios if I do not get it done during the week.

Nope, still need to paint it. Weekends are becoming busier this summer than I had anticipated. I don't have any before pics, but I can post some afters when I get the upper porch finished too.

I have to much to do, Getting rid of a lot of stuff and I'm making plans to move out of state.
Economy sucks and it's draining me dry. I can no longer afford to live in this area, not as a single mother.
Work is very slim, there's nothing around here that would pay what I was making.
Plan on making a new start up north.

So after the threat of a tornado and a 3 hour raing delay, being in the pits for a 358 series sprint car race is freakin' awsome. I will definately be doing that again.
