I resent having to pay $5.00 to post, but I guess I'll afford it until I get taxed out of existence.

I'd like to know who these "guests" are. I had to pay before I could see anything. wtf? pay up ya cheapskates!

I paid just to recover my pm's. I might want to use some of that information at some point. If you catch my meaning. BTW paying the 5 bucks sucks but this way no one can remain truly anonymous so we wont have people posting under 5000 different names.

And I guess there should be no spammers. I doubt they'd pay to post their spam. You would think that if we payed money there should be some sections of the board private just for those paying, and away from prying, cheapskate,lurking eyes

Only time anyone can see the forum is if they pay the $5.
If you don't pay all you see is stuff posted back in 2008.

Wonder if more will pay the 5 bucks, wonder what the benfits are from paying that $5 ?

@breezie: You can see old threads by changing the date range at the bottom of the page.

Like WVDragonlady said, hopefully the $5 will keep the fake accounts out and the posts of a high quality--more HAM and less SPAM.

It should be the way you posted. As a matter of fact, you should see nothing without paying the money Just a message saying that you need to be a member to read the board. It's only fair IMO.

With the economy being the way it is, maybe they need money to keep the site a going.
