The first incident occurred just after 3 a.m. Monday at 348 Patrick's Court in Inwood, a residence off of Nadenbousch Lane. Berkeley County Sheriff Kenneth Lemaster said the victim, a 30-year-old man, was in the residence when the attack occurred. Lemaster said the victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the attack and was transported to Winchester Medical Center for treatment.
The victim, Nathan Farley, called The Journal Tuesday evening and said he and his family had been sleeping when a loud noise woke them up. He said his wife went to check on their children when she saw two intruders and screamed. Farley said he ran out of his room and the men started shooting, and he was struck in the stomach.
"It was two guys with black ski masks," Farley said. "They shot at me ... and hit me in the stomach."

If a loud noise wakes me up you can be darn sure that I'll have my shotgun before I'm out of the bedroom! Count on it! ( thats a warning to all the scumbags out there
It's time for America to stand up and stop being victims!
When I read this sort of thing it just gets my bloomers in a bunch. 1) because of the low lifes that do this sort of thing and 2) the sheeple who just take it without even trying to defend themselves.
ok, rant over
