Hey - wait a minute. Isn't that a little reminiscent of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Barney Frank's defense of poor lending practices, the Community Reinvestment Act, HUD "National Homeownership Strategy", and all the other federal housing initiatives... i.e. the indiscriminate govt. push to relax lending standards which was quite helpful in crashing the economy?
