I'm sure you were just as upset when a Republican Senate used reconciliation to pass Bush's tax cuts in 2001 and 2003.

I thought you were talking about using reconciliation specifically. I agree that we need health care insurance reform. The sooner the better. But I think they're keeping reconciliation on the table in order to protect 5 or 6 senators in the 2010 election.

1. Go ahead and go nuclear, it will make it easier for the Republicans next election.
2. We need Government run Health care/insurance about as much as we need a hole in the head.
