Let this man keep doing this stuff, and we will have a true civil war over states rights.

So you have a problem with the Fed Gov't limiting highway funds to states that don't enact texting-while-driving bans. Do you also have a problem with similar limitations on drunk driving - especially since recent studies show texting drivers have a higher accident rate?

You want the Feds to do it or the States? I'm all for the states doing it.

I'm all for states rights but the problem is I drive a lot (35-40k miles/yr) and I drive in several states. If they all do it, fine. If not, I'd like to see the feds do it.

More power to the centralized government, hrm, sort of takes away the Republic part doesn't it?

All they really need to do is ban cell phone use by young females under the age of 30
