Why are the Democrats in such disarray over Afghanistan? Simple – they can’t figure out how to fit it into their agenda of redistributing wealth and seizing more political control.

No – I’m not entirely serious. Unfortunately, given their actions so far, coupled with the mind-set of people like Rahm Emanuel (see my sig.) and David Axelrod, I can’t say I’m entirely joking either.

President Obama is obviously pretty naïve when it comes to dealing with folks that think American is Satan incarnate. Just witness how pushing Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Olympics suddenly took center stage over his Afghan generals’ pleas to have their concerns heard. He's much better at figuring out ways to play Robin Hood via empowering ACORN-like groups. His foreign policy seems more like something Rodney King would've come up with.

Even worse than just a naive "why can't we all just get along" mentality, Obama’s message to the world so far has been something like this: Before I became President, America sucked and did evil everywhere. I'm sorry about that. Hope you all can forgives us - (btw - it wasn't my fault). Now I’m in the process of creating my own new and improved version of America and enlightened people everywhere will surely adore ME for it eventually. However, if it continues to suck in any way, it is still, and will always remain, George Bush and the conservatives fault.

It’s no wonder these bozos have trouble deciding how to deal with terrorists and nations that sponsor them. After all, these are the same folks that thought it a good idea to release Gitmo prisoners into our neighborhoods. That’s about the level of their concern. They’re concerned alright but it’s not about us.
