My son and I went to see the movie last week. I didn't see what all the hype is about the movie except for the EXTREME beatings Christ must have perservered, according to the director of the movie.

I did not enjoy the way it was shown with sub-titles as I found it to be distracting to read the script while watching a movie. I think that the one good thing that the movie may accomplish is to make everyone take a step back and realize that we may have a higher being to answer to and that we are all loved and that there should be FORGIVENESS.

I saw the movie Jesus Christ Superstar a long time ago and I enjoyed it much better and got a lot more understanding out of it then this movie.
