I opened up the Morning Herald this morning and noticed a change in the format of the obituaries. I like it!
I always read the obits to make sure my name isn't there.

A guy that went to my high school was named Harry Weiner. No joke. I met his parents too.

There was a guy who lived down the road from me in my hometown. His name was Richard Long. He of course went by Dick. And his mailbox listed his last name first!! Maybe he was hoping to attract someone!

Ya think that's bad... About 20 years ago at work I had to send some electronic equipment back to the manufacturer for repairs. I had gotten a letter or fax with the return information on it and I swear it was supposed to go to the attention of Richard Head. That guy must have hated his parents.

There was a concrete contractor in this area awhile back and he installed alot of sidewalks in Hagerstown. I see alot in the north end.. he would use this stamp about 8 inches in diameter with his name on it and stamp it into the fresh concrete.. his name.. Peter Bender Co. I still laugh when I pass one of those stamps.
