I've posted photos from last night's (Sunday morning) crash in Greencastle on my website.

The story I heard was that Waynesboro police were in hot pursuit of the vehicle but broke it off at Grove (as they approached the I-81 intersection and downtown Greencastle).
I heard the car hit the brakes near the Library (across the street from my house) and heard the screech as it skidded almost a full block further on, finally smashing to a flagpole in the front lawn of the Alleman residence flipping onto its side and smashing into a Jeep parked on the street. People at the scene told me the driver fled on foot. At least one person thought the driver was a woman. This was on East Baltimore Street, the main street in Greencastle.
I arrived on the scene just minutes later (you can see the smoke still rising in some of the photos) and several minutes before the emergency response vehicles arrived.
(I would have emailed this to the newsroom but couldn't find any contact information on the Herald-Mail's homepage.)
