Wanted to get a topic out there that gamers can throw some posts out there. Saw in the latest PS2 magazine some clips on Sony's PSP system. Looks good, except for the 5 1/2 inch screen. I didn't see the specs, but I believe the system is on par with the PS1 or better. Anyone have any clue?

Gooogle "E3" (the big computer game convention) and check some of the links. I think the PSP got some heavy press this year.

Hey, mbarone12, welcome to the forum.

I'm gonna move this topic down to Community Corner --> Getting a little help from my friends --> Games Galore, in a couple of hours - just so you know where it went.

I'm not much of a gamer myself, I wasn't much into consoles, but played a lot of PC based stuff - alas, my 4 yr old PC can't handle much of the new stuff.

Yup. I saw the E3 info online as well as the mag. I'm a big Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts fan and was glad to see that there are new games coming out for the PS2 for this series.

Not yet. I haven't picked up the hardware. It would be a big investment for the summer. I'll wait until the winter where I can camp out in front of the TV and not feel like I need to be outside.

As my wife would attest, if I stay in front of game, it's lights out as far as attention she would get. (That's a bad thing biggrin.gif ).

I never get any attention anyway. Wait til the winter, ha! The summer is still spent in front of the TV watching all the Cubs games on the MLB package. And I tried to buy him the adapter for Dad's Day. He took it back and got an EyeToy.

Bought a download game from Yahoo a couple of months ago for my daughter called Feeding Frenzy. It's a simple game, but addicting. You're a small fish and the objective is to eat smaller fish to get bigger, while avoiding being eaten by bigger fish. After awhile of eating, you grow bigger and eat the fish that were originally trying to eat you.

There are approximately 40 levels. After 10 levels you become a different fish within a different environment.

Check it out if you're a gamer.

Does anyone else have an eye-toy? If so, do you have the dance game that goes with it? Just wondering what it's like. The variety pack that came with it is entertaining, I guess. I don't play with it, but would like to know of the dance thing is good, since my child is a dancin' fool.

Along those lines, I saw in Target the other day, a game called Karaoke Revolution. In researching on the net, it appears to be along the lines of Dance Dance Revolution, but on the sing along side.

Anyone try this one?
