When the DVD came out a few years back, I gave out the same advice about CTHD to my movie watching friends. I couldn't believe how people wouldn't even give it a chance with the subtitling.
I then had to switch to the tactic of telling them it had some of the best chick-on-chick sword fighting/martial arts they'll see in a movie. The fight scenes really put Kill Bill's swordplay to shame.

Agreed. That movie never disappoints me, even for the upteenth time that I've seen it. Much better than even the highly-anticipated Uma vs. Darryl fight scene in Kill Bill II (sorry if I ruined it for anyone).
