Why are the McDonalds and sheetz so dirty?

Outsiders make it like that.

I've wondered that all my life. I have figured out why my parents avoiding taking me to get a Happy Meal. Williamsport's Mickey Ds is much better than some I've seen in VA, but Mickey Ds is not where I will be seen anytime soon for a nice prime rib dinner or mystery meat Big Mac.

Sheetz has the best location in the whole town and it cannot move anywhere and make equal the money it makes being there. It has no real expansion/improvement opportunities because it just inherited the small land that its previous merchant (Quik Stopper) was on. I do love that Sheetz because it is my late night snacking grounds.

I too have noticed that. I stop in there before my softball games, and it’s not the nicest atmosphere.

I believe all functions fall directly on store management. If the priority of management was to keep the store attractive to its customers, it would be clean. Maybe Sheetz needs some competition to wake them up. Tear the old Shell station down and build a Wawa.
