This show is so scandalous, but I must say it is entertaining!

I keep watching for about 3 reasons:
1. I wish I had a "life coach."
2. I see unreal specimen of older women.
3. I have a "new" perspective of the business.

What does everyone else think of the show?

It looks like it's a good show. But everytime I watch it I can't get past the cutting, probing and mutilation of human skin! Last night I caught a brief glance of some suction device being manipulated under someone's belly skin. I guess is was liposuction or something.

Same with Fear Factor, I can't get over the grossness of it all.

I'm no prude, and have seen things in real life that would turn any person's stomach but I just can't watch this kind of thing on TV, for some reason.

I am a big fan of this show... lol Its extremely risqué for its time slot. I Think Greedy would like it…

Big fan here. I've been watching it since the start. I agree that the medical scenes are a bit graphic, to the point that I now fast forward through them.

The FX network is becoming just like HBO with it's orginal programing. They've produced so many good shows in a row now (Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me), that I'll give any new show they produce a serious look.

The relationship between Julie and Dr. Troy is the most interesting, IMHO.

It's about 5 or 6 eps into the new season. FX reruns liberally, so you may be able to catch up.

The saga/scandals continue... This show is very entertaining to me, almost on a Walker Texas Ranger level. Now that Ava has lost her boy toy, I'm applying to be the replacement, but I just hope I'm young enuff.

Did you see this week's (8/10)? What the heck was growing out of that baby's @ss?!?!?!!!

My hubby says that a "tail" is a not uncommon birth defect. Easy to remove... which is good for baby.

Now that the word is out about Matt's true parentage... I'm wondering what will happen to the practice. Will Dr. MacNamara (sp?) forgive and forget? Will the practice break in two (unlikely). Oh, the agony of anticipation...

I don't know what will happen, but that was outstanding acting last week by everybody (Sean, Christian, Mrs. Sean). Good stuff.

Last night's episode was something else to put it nicely I guess. That hooker was soooooo hot. What went on in the makeshift "double" bed was very um um perplexing?

Did anyone else watch this crazy episode? I was shifting between it and the Olympics, but I saw a good portion of the show.

I love this show. It's a nice mix of drama and debauchery.

My favorite scene of the night went something like this...

Hooker: "I wanted to ask you if I should get breast implants?"
Sean: "You already did"
Hooker: (instant h.j.)

The question and answer session on the airplane between Sean/Christian with the sleeping lady sitting in the middle was a great scene, too.

Man I keepin' missin' the first 1/2 hour...where the hell did the love doll come from?

Kimber realized her acting career was going nowhere, so she branched out into pr0n. The real doll of her was part of her marketing strategy.

Does anyone else but me think this show is going a little overboard with the whole sex thing. I mean... I like a little love as much as the next gal... but what happened to the old exciting storylines, like the one where they fed the guy to the alligator, or even Matt's homemade circumcision. I get tired of seeing booty... I wanna see some shoot 'em up action!

Oh well... at least it's better than Princess Menses. LOL

I watched the episode with Kimber and Sean last night, what happend between Sean and his wife (her name escapes me). Does it have anything to do with Sean's affair with the women who had cancer and killed herself?

An episode or two ago, his wife told him that Christian was the real father of their son, not Sean.

I know too much about this damn show.

New levels of grossness were reached this week with the eyeball removal surgery. More sex, less grossness....

I didn't see any point to the Noxema Girl subplot... except for the sex scene.

That said, Dr. Sean's self-righteous jerk-off attitude is really annoying me. In the first season he hit on a psychiatrist and had an affair with a patient--while he was STILL married. Methinks he should extend his wife the same mercy and forgiveness she extended to him.

Men.

Next week looks like some "twin peaks" kind of $hit.

But they tried to make it an emotional sex scene, I think. Not like the trashy wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am scenes with Kimber. It was more this romantic, we-feel-the-love type thing.

I came in during the middle of the show last night. What the he*l was going on? That was the weirdest episode I've ever seen.

It was a "dream" episode. What would her life have been like if she married Christian instead of Sean. The hot life coach was her dream guide. All the dreaming took place while she was under getting her face fixed that she cut up falling through the glass door a week or two ago.

I thought it was stupid.

The worst: she woke up telling Sean he was "the one all along."

Barf.

Dr. Christian is MUCH hotter and sexier.

Agreed, not the best episode. Although, I agree with Sman her Angel of Death was hot!

That was the weirdes freakin episode that I've ever seen! To find out that Eva was a man was just weird. Did anybody else think Eva's son was the carver at first?

So, I rented season 1 and 2 on DVD, and watched the first episode of season 3 last night. Anyone else watch?

Here's my prediction for the season, which is probably pretty obvious, but Shawn and Julie are going to get back together.

Oh, and does anyone else have suspicions that the "carver" is a female? I know that the carver commits rape, but there are ways "around" that. Here are my reasons for thinking that: 1) Obviously he/she is using some kind of voice device; 2) There are no physical features (hands, hair, etc) that indicate the sex of the carver; 3) The carver never uses physical strength to overcome the victims, only drugs. I don't know, just food for thought.

I never thought of that, could be true. Hey, Phish, what happened to Mamma Boone at the end of the show, I fell asleep when they began to operate on her.

She started to go into arrest and she was a DNR (Do not resuscitate), so she died.

I still love this show. This carver storyline is such a cliche, but I still love it. Can't wait to see who it is.

Even though the life of Dr. Troy may seem fascinating to men, wouldn't you find it lonely to never experience love? One of the greatest things of having a significant other is getting to really know them and love them for more than a physical or sexual attraction. [/end romantic fantasy world]

I did notice Matt's lookin pretty rough in the preview. That definitely had me wondering. hhmmm. I wonder who beats him up. Maybe it's the life coach's son. Or maybe he's next on the carver's list? Of course, the carver is not into shaving heads, but maybe Matt did it after an attack? Who knows. Stay tuned.....

P.S. The carver is definitely a cliche, but it makes for good entertainment. I guess you can only do so many boob jobs before the show becomes redundant.

I actually thought that Mamma Boone's husband might be the carver since his wife was in dire need of medical attention.

No... he showed up at the very end, right? Sean thought it was Matt at first, because he could only see the kid's back, and then the kid turns around and it was the gang-banger.

What ever happened to the Columbian drug lord?

Shawn and Christian performed surgery on him as a deal, so that he would leave them alone. The surgery was to completely change his look so he could get out of the country unrecognized. Funny thing is, they changed him to look like another criminal, so the feds nabbed him at the airport and he's in jail. Meanwhile, they think he's some other dude.

Last nights episode probably creeped me out the most...the way the new doc dude was watchin' dr.sean in the frat house and then the pinky in the bum hole of dr.troy
