I don't know if anyone will like this thread, but... starting today, I think it would be cool if everyone named one thing that you saw, did, heard about, thought of (be somewhat appropriate), etc. that is out of the ordinary during your day. You can be overdramatic if necessary.
This morning going into my office building, a young woman was trying to enter the building thru one of the revolving doors. At the same moment, an older man was coming thru. However, the young woman was walking into the door and was about to push it (the wrong way) when POP, she was bopped in the head with the door by the older man who was exiting (the right way). I guess she couldn't turn around quick enough. Nonetheless, the door got stuck for a minute with the woman practically lying there and the man stuck in the middle. She was A OK, but it was an interesting sight.

OK....I'll play....
Last night, my wife and I were on our way to a meeting
in Harrisburg, PA...we stopped at an Applebee's at Exit 14
for dinner....shortly after we were seated, a woman was
seated across from us....nothing unusual about that...the
waiter approached and asked her if she was ready to
order, but she informed him that she was waiting for
someone....nothing strange about that either....so, about
10 minutes later, our order arrived, and right after that,
the woman's friend showed up....what made the whole thing
odd (and pretty funny) was that her friend showed up
wearing the EXACT SAME blouse that she had on...EXACTLY
the same blouse. They had no idea, and proceeded to laugh
about it for a good 15 minutes....we enjoyed a laugh at
their expense, too...

I saw a man riding one of those old bicycles that has a big front wheel and a tiny rear wheel. It wasn't today, but over the weekend.

I find it odd that people speed and drive like nuts to get to work in the mornin'...
I'm in no hurry...

I find it weird that people will drive around the parking lot for 15 minutes looking for a close spot when they easily could have parked farther away and walked and been at their desk 10 minutes earlier. This happens everyday at my workplace.

I find it odd that my new job is with a different division of the same very high-tech firm that I worked for further east (can't name any names, sorry), where they do high level software development. Yet technology-wise, I seem to have gone backwards: We had speedy new desktop pc's and paper timecards back east, whereas they have issued me a PIII laptop with 128K RAM (not even useful as a boat anchor!) and do their timecards electronically here. Unfortunately, I've been there almost 2 weeks now, and still can't do an electronic timecard because "I'm not in the system", and I can' choose health insurance, etc. until I can do an electronic timecard. With as slow as this stupid laptop is, how do they expect me to do my job efficiently?

I work at
Butts Tubes, one of the river rafting companies near Harpers Ferry, during the summer. I drive the shuttle buses taking people to and from the river.
Every now and then you get a few people who have never gone tubing on the river before. (Now keep in mind that you float on the tube
DOWN THE RIVER). So I had a small group over the weekend that asked me, "do you get wet doing this?" I just told them no, it's a dry river.

Earlier this summer i was in the mountians at Green ridge.
I was at an over look that you could see for miles. This lady and some friends of hers walked up to me and asked what state was acroos the river. Now mind you i`m in Md. So i said it was OHIO. She just looked at me and said to her friends are we that close to Ohio? They just started to laugh and told her i think so. True story.
They had NC. tags on the car.

I used to take my wife to a health club and I would sit in the parking lot and watch people make 3 laps to find a closer parking spot only to then go walking into the health club to work out.
