I'm sure the Ag Expo is coming soon. I found it strange that it was not announced here anywhere by someone in-the-know about it. Or is it here and I'm missing it?

Sounded like they had a tractor pull last night...anyone go?

There is one tonight too. I'll probably go to that one.

Went to the pull last night. Traffic gettin' in was awful -- a 40 minute wait and no cops anywhere, so people were doin all sorts of stupid stuff, including driving in the wrong direction (on the wrong side of the road). The pulls weren't that great, IMO -- lots of the tractors couldn't make it off the starting line, and the sled threw and alternator belt so there was a 35-45 minute delay for that. But I'm glad to see ag get the coverage it has in the paper. It's nice to see support for the farm community.

BTW -- I'd love to see one of the execs for the MD VEIP program go to one of these pulls. They'd probably have to take a few pills and lie down!

I still cannot believe my little sister went to that tractor pull last night. She's probably after another country boy again. Whatever floats her boat and doesn't make it sink.

Anyways, I do think it might be cool to see animals and such. It's just not my cup of tea to show them off.
