I have a feeling one of the gurus on this forum will have an answer for this:
Is there any way to find out, online, who the landowner of a piece of Washington County property is based on a physical location? For example, if there is no house on a piece of land, but I can say the land is located at the corner of X and Y road, can I find out who the property owner is, or get a map of the property boundaries, etc? Or is this only possible by going to the courthouse and looking through dusty stacks of books?

You can try www.dat.state.md.us. Go to real property data search. Even if you don't know the address of the property you can type in the road name (which is what I do usually anyhow) without the number and go thru the list.
I've never searched undeveloped land before, but give it a try.
Whoops, I have done that before. It works.

Yoss and McGee,
Y'all are great -- thanks.

I tried a link from the Wash Co. web site yesterday and it was a dead link -- got the 404 warning.
Your link worked.
