I have a small gas grill problem and I'm looking for input from any seasoned gas grillers around here. The grill is a 6 month old, 3 burner gas grill with one of the exchange fuel tanks you buy from the front of Lowe's.
When I fired it up for some chicken tonight, the flame on two of the burners wasn't my usual small, blue flame. It was yellow and very large. By large, I mean it was licking up through the cooking grates about an inch or so. It's never done this before.
A few google searches later and it seems to be either a low fuel tank or an obstruction of some kind in the little tube between the control knobs and the burners. I unsucessfully tried to check the gas level using some stupid little sticker on the side of the tank that is supposed to change colors to indicate the fuel level. The flames seem to be strong and heated very well, so I'm leaning away from the low tank theory.
Any help is appreciated. I have a big bbq on Saturday to gear up for and I don't want the grill konking out or blowing up.
