I've been lazy this summer, but I'm still barely pushing 140 lbs.

I used to work out at South Pointe, but this summer my ridiculous commute has not given me much free time. If I'm really bored I'll work out in my basement on the small universal machine and possibly run on the treadmill. When I get back in the swing of things, I'll suck it up and try to bulk up again.

I do play basketball (streetball) once a week or so, and I try to golf once a week. I also channelsurf.

Only if you're lifting very heavy food, like Dagwood sandwiches.

Cheesy puffs don't count.

Anybody else feel slow or"compressed"(that's the best word i can think of),or maybe stiff is the word I mean, if for some reason you can't exercise like you did before? Is it just me?Man,I wanna do some real long stretches like I used to but, with the list the Doc gave me I'm not sure I'll come thru them!! blink.gif biggrin.gif

Maybe yoga would help your stiff "compressed" feeling? Start out with some gentle stretching and see how it progresses.

After spending 2 years as a total couch potato, I've started walking a couple miles a day. Will get a Y membership soon and use the elliptical and treadmill.
