Does anyone know what the issue is with the HM website not responding? It time's-out way to frequently these days. So frustrating...

HM,
Is your web server crashing every 10 minutes or something?

I think Fredneckguy is behind it

Yeah, it's Greedy's avatar and his attachments causing the slowdown.
Seriously, I know.
And I'm not tellin'.

It could be due to some of the 'ads' they have that go out to other websites for images, etc... if those sites are down, the page may not load...

Naw, that's not it.
They just installed a new T1 line and were initially having problems with it. Verizon is ironing out the kinks.

Hello all good people!
Please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused by our persnickety web server/T1. I assure you that no one has suffered from these problems more than me!
We are tracking down the cause(s). Things should be better today...and even better tomorrow

Hi Webbie,
I've noticed that the problems with the forum website are still happening. Too many users? Will these problems be ironed out anytime soon?

I've noticed it a few times myself, But all in all it hasn't been to awfully bad. Heck, even the Drudge Report goes down from time to time. So I'm sure our resident web mistress will iron out all the kinks.

Rom, when you're on here as much as myself and some others (screwin' off - instead of workin' ) you notice the problems more. Mostly SQL too many connections errors now.

Friday must've been a bad day for the site. I tried multiple times to sign on and it just kept coming back with the message that there were too many users. It was before the tornados hit so we can't blame the weather!
