I just want to see Let's Go Mountaineers, who are rated 7th and 8th according to the AP and USA Today/ESPN polls. I also hope that WVU beats Maryland next Saturday, because IMO that's the only team that we would lose to this year.

I guess WVU is loving not having to play Miami every year now. Or the other way to look at it is Miami got out just in time. IIRC, WVU should have beat Miami last year and they put it on Virginia Tech.

Speaking of polls, does it seem the various polls are all over the place this year? In previous years, there may have been one or two teams flip/flopped from poll to poll (ie #4 in one poll, #5 in the other). This year there seems to be some 2-3 spot differences, depending on which poll you're looking at.

Not a good week in college football for me.

Miami shouldn't have been able to leave the Big East, but it's nice that we will win the conference this year. I'm surprised Va Tech will play us this year, as the rumour was last year that they wouldn't play us this year, and even on our schedule this year the time says TBA.

Terps roll into Morgantown and spank the Mountaineers this weekend! Just like they did last year. Twice at that! Get ready for a freefall down the polls WVU fans. GO TERPS!!!!!!!!!

After 5 turnovers I couldn't believe it was that close. Maryland will be lucky to beat Duke if they play like that all year. Looks like the Mountaineers should be Big East champs as long as they stay on their toes and avoid any upsets. That means big-time bowl for you guys. Good luck the rest of the way

The best quarterback in Maryland and one of the top ten recruits in the nation is right next door at Northwest High in Mont. Co. If Ralph can get him he will step right in next year. Supposedly he has narrowed his choices to three schools....one being Maryland.

Even though Sportscenter tried to hype Florida losing, there were no big upsets this week, so the polls will probably stand pat.

Maryland continues to impress me with their suckiness. With VT, FSU, and Miami in the ACC, it's only going to get worse.
