Another thing we agree on, Snoopy - Cowgirls won - BOOOOO!
Although the 'Skins sure didn't deserve to win yesterday.....
Now, let's hope the Eagles lose tonight!

Agreed, Sheash, even though they could have won it I'm glad they didn't cuz they sure didn't deserve to win playing that way. They need to feel the sting of a loss after a showing like that -- mostly the offense that was offensive.

Well, Sman, if you'd prefer, we can turn it into a Cowboys hate-fest?!
It WAS a good start to the week. I was pulling on something yesterday, and when it broke, I whacked my face into the side of a decorative cast iron pineapple on our porch. Thought for sure I'd have a black eye, but it only looks like I've got dirt on my cheek, so that's good.
Then, I got a bid out this morning and got out of the office at 4:15 today. It's the end of the Government fiscal year, and I haven't been out of the office before 5:30 in a couple of weeks. But I've got another bid going in tomorrow, so it'll probably be another 5:30 nite.

Okay, SMAN, I think Gibbs & Co. will get the Skins' back on track Monday night and my 'Skins will beat your "Boys. And I'm willing to bet a virtual six-pack on it! Is it a bet?
SMan

My dearest Snoop, I will gladly take that bet. Especially after Ramsey was named the probable starter. It'll be nice to see him get knocked silly again.

If the 'Skins continue to play at this level they will be very lucky to go 8-8 and the Eagles will beat them by 3 TD's or more.
It's tough being me in the world of sports -- I'm a 'Skins fan and O's fan. I kinda like the Steelers, too.

It's been a long time since I've even had a season to be optomistic about half-way through.

No seriously, I was never a big football fan, or sports fan for that matter, but I am an Eagles fan (by default - it's a family thang). So go Eagles (Maybe this time they can actually make it the whole way instead of blowing it in the play offs)!

Stupid skins are ruining my ranking. I had them winning 27-24 last night. Moronic play review cost 'em a time out that they really needed. Someone upstairs shoulda been tellin Gibbs that the play was good and not to review it. Idiots!

Gibbs did a stupid job of clock management at halftime, too, wasting the last timeout so the defense knew the 3rd down play had to be a pass. 1st and goal from the 2 and they get 3 points.

He shoulda put in the big fullback and pounded it 3 straight runs w/ no need for a timeout wasted to call a play.

You've got that right! There was no way they should've lost that game, except Gibbs screwed up. A darned shame, after all of the high hopes we had for the man. Let's hope he gets his head on straight before the next game.

IMO it wasn't Gibbs' fault they lost...it was those stinkin' refs! I think they paid Dallas refs to come up here and mess us up! Really was a good game though, close match IMO.
To all my fellow 'Skins fans out there, let's please stay loyal and not turn into fair weather fans only! Anyone remember Gibbs' record after his very first season in DC?? He's got a lot of work ahead of him with the team he's been given, and they'll come around!

In the game against NY, yes the overhyped players stunk up the place. But against the Cowboys, Gibbs takes the majority of the blame IMO. That doesn;t make me any less of a fan... I just don't have my head in the sand.

No loyalty lectures needed here, thanks. I've stuck by the O's and 'Skins since the 70's. 'Nuff said.
But as much as I love Gibbs, he picked the coaches and many of the key players, so don't talk about "the team he's been given". The halftime play calling and clock management was terrible, period. I bet Gibbs admitted as much because he is usually an honest man. Players had blame to go around too, but their job is tougher than managing the clock from the sideline. Still, Brunell's passing has stunk, and Coles -- supposedly an elite receiver -- has had several balls bounce right off his hands and chest, (as have other receivers). I've seen nothing elite from Coles all season.
'Boys fans might say this is jumping off the bandwagon or whatever, but I call it being honest. There will be plenty for the 'Boys fans to complain about by year's end.

Coles took an elite hit from Roy Williams going across the middle. Hits like that won't help Coles with his "alligator arm" problem when catching passes.

Just a Vikings Fan... It goes back to my childhood I was never a sports fan but my older brother was a sports nut. He made me pick a team and I thought the Vikes had the coolest helmets. I always loved the outdoors fishing, hunting, camping, hiking...... thoose are my passions.

Aaah yes, I once had a boyfriend that was a Cowboys fan for the same reason...he liked the star on the helmet. We didn't last long though because I'm a Redskins fan, raised that way from birth! But I love the great outdoors too, and if given a choice I'd be out in the fresh air instead of sitting in front of the tv watching football...well...maybe!

Actually, my sis-in-law was at the Bears/Skins game Sunday. Said it was really nice, had to shed her coat, and there was no wind. Which is very surprising lakeside. It was pleasant out in the burbs, too.
